So what is my job...

A few of my blog followers have inquired exactly is it that keeps me from my blog.

The full time job I have is working in a medical billing office here in Florida. I work in the front office with another person answering phones, filing, and doing whatever else is needed.  It's close to my home so it works fine for leaving at lunch to go home and let the dogs out.  I have worked for them over the past several years on a part time basis.  However this year their immediate needs changed and like they say being in the right place at the right time helps.  Plus my neighbor put a good word in for me as she is the one that got me the gig....she has been with them for a while.

No, I'm not moving to Florida full time yet. That is my plan but there are too many things in PA to get rid of.  At least my husband has a lot of things to get rid of.  I've been cleaning out my things little by little every summer.   This summer it's time to sell off my downhill skis, boots, and everything else that goes with them.  I have not been skiing in some time and having a bad back tells me it is not meant to be.  Plus the cold weather anymore just is not my cup of tea.

I hope this answers your questions.  Have a great weekend!

  2. You are so busy! Can't believe you have time to blog at all. I don't have your working excuse and yet I am still way behind on blogging and visiting my favs. Things are slowing down here in our corner of Ft M. We are getting things ready for next week's 5-night boat trip with some other UPriver boaters. A vacation from our vacation I guess.

I can't seem to find your photo blog. (Wouldn't blame you if you stopped doing it since you're so busy, but I thought the link might be something I'm missing.)

  4. I'm with you on the cold weather. Every year, I can bear it just a little less. And I have a pack-rat husband too!
The new job sounds great. Hope you're enjoying it!

At peace...

It is amazing what a calming feeling being near or on the water has, at least for me.  It is peaceful, it removes whatever I had on my mind ...
