You would have thought that summer started about a month ago with the high temperatures across the country. But oh no, officially it starts today at 1:16PM.
Just a few pictures of my Christmas cactus plants. They started blooming around Thanksgiving and are still going strong. They really love this weather.
This past weekend I was visiting with my old neighbor at her home in Michigan. September is very nice in the Grand Rapids area, warm days and cooler nights. It was refreshing to escape the humidity of SW Florida. There are sooooo many apple orchards in the area, and she chose one that she had not been too. So here are just a few pictures. No pumpkin patch or pumpkins. Enjoy!
We are still waiting for Spring in the Pacific Northwest. The temperature still hasn't hit the 70's yet!
ReplyDeleteBut I will welcome Summer with open arms, today!
Happy Summer! Welcome back to PA, hopefully it is slightly cooler there than FL! Have a wonderful week!
