Well it looks like something or someone has taken momma duck's eggs.  The bizarre thing is that it has happened during the day. People coming and going from the building.  I'm not sure what it was but her last two are gone.  She continues to sit or just stand in the nest.  When she is not in the nest she is standing near by.  So sorry momma duck.....the end. 

Just an update on the nest.  Not sure what is going on but when I returned to work Monday the mother was sitting on the nest so I was not sure what, if any progress was taking place.  When I checked in Tuesday the nest appeared to be empty however later in the day there were only 2 eggs. Now the really sad part when I left work last night.....the nest was empty and momma duck was just hanging out.  Now I don't believe there are any snakes or lizards during the day which is a question my daughter has asked me; if that were the case I believe there would a lot of screaming women in the building.  It gives me the creeps just thinking about it.  So when I go in today I will check it out again.  Maybe she really covers them up when she waddles away to look for food or go to the pond behind the building for a dip.  So stay tuned to this unusually twist.  As always, have a great day!

Outside the office building I work in, tucked in a corner safe and sound sits a momma duck.  The pictures tell all.  It's been about 5 days since I've taken these pictures so be sure to check back; not sure when......

Went looking for Jackson because he was not in his usual spot and I could not find him.  That's because he was in the spare dog bed where all the toys are kept.  I guess he just could not get close enough to them or could not decide which ones to play with so he decided to take a nap with them instead....what a great laugh I had. He loves his toys!!!

I know you think I may have won the lottery, changed my name and gotten that long over due face lift.  HA!.  Well, think again.  I may have won the lottery, yes a free ticket here and there and the name and face change well that's on hold!!!  After so many years of not punching the clock to now working full time, whew am I tired.  I just wanted to let my faithful followers know that I'm still here, charging the batteries in my cameras and making a list of ideas to blog about.  Right now it's a short list...not enough coffee yet.
